Brahmapuram Sree Mahalakshmi Pratyangira Temple is in Sasthamangalam, Trivandrum. This is the only temple where Goddess Lakshmi (right side) and Goddess Pratyangira (left side) are consecrated and installed together. Also known as Atharvana Bhadrakali, is one of the most powerful goddesses. This combination of lion and human forms represents the balance of good and evil. Prathyangira devi also known as Bhairava pathni, Daksha yagna vinashini. The Devi is enshrined in a sword, mirror, and peedom. One of the few temples of goddess Lakshmi in Trivandrum, a very powerful deity, The avatars of lord Vishnu are depicted around the goddess shrine.
